Apprentice star stops off at Stourbridge College

APPRENTICE star Lee McQueen went back to college to encourage Black Country students to think positively about their futures.

Lee, winner of series four of TV show The Apprentice which sees 16 candidates fighting to win a ?100,000 a year job with Lord Alan Sugar, stopped off at Stourbridge College campuses in Stourbridge and Brierley Hill as part of a continued drive to raise aspirations.

The high-profile speaker, a former recruitment industry consultant who won the popular BBC show in 2008, visited the college?s Advanced Technology Centre in Brierley Hill and the main campus in Hagley Road, Stourbridge, on January 31.

Mozz Baker, the college?s head of Tutorial and Student Voice, said the visit was organised to ?motivate students to realise that with hard work, drive and determination anything is possible in relation to achieving goals?.

Since working for Lord Sugar, entrepreneur Lee has gone on to set up his own company Raw Talent Academy - which aims to find and develop ?raw talent?.

He is also regularly featured in magazines, newspapers and on TV talking about entrepreneurialism and youth employment.
