Flickr for iOS now lets you tag friends, save shots to camera roll and upload photos faster

It was late last year that Flickr for iOS underwent a major makeover as part of Marissa Mayer's vision to revitalize Yahoo products, and today the app's on the receiving end of what's perhaps its most notable update since. The refreshed application will now let iDevice owners easily mention Flickr friends by way of -- you guessed it -- that ubiquitous "@," while the new version also brings speedier photo uploads, an option to save shots from your own Photostream to the iOS camera roll and the ability to quickly snap a picture using the volume button. In addition to that, the Flickr app now also allows users to gawk at higher-res pics in the Lightbox View, which should be a feature nicely welcomed by those who like to call themselves pixel buffs. Version 2.10.803, as it's more formally known, is now live in the App Store, so head on to Cupertino's shop if you're eager to try out the free goods.

Oregon QB Says A&M?s Manziel Plays ?Backyard Football?

So maybe his nickname should be Johnny Backyard Football.? At least that?s what Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota seems to think.

Judging by the comments on a couple of Aggie messageboards, the Ducks? QB seems to have ruffled some feathers ? pun intended ? when he described Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel?s game as ?backyard football.?

?For a lot of us, it?s how we were introduced to the game ? just going out and making plays.? I?d like to do that.? It would be fun.? But it would be outside of my calling here.?

Now, personally I don?t see what?s so inflammatory about that comment.? Granted, Manziel was once committed to Oregon and perhaps there?s a bit of history between the two signal-callers, but this seems to be a case of looking for trash talk.

Mariota simply alluded to the differences between his role in Eugene and Manziel?s role in College Station.? And judging by that Heisman Trophy he picked up in December, Manziel seems to fit his role perfectly.

Stay tuned, but I don?t think Aggie fans should be losing any sleep over this one.

Joan Rivers on kissing a woman: 'I might as well'

Comedienne Joan Rivers and her daughter Melissa are both looking for love on the new season of their reality show, but they're going about their searches in different ways.

During a Tuesday morning visit to TODAY, Melissa said she's just looking for a nice guy who's "not going to drool in social situations." As for Joan, she's not even sure if her love match needs to be a guy at all.

"Lily Tomlin, who is my very good friend, she and Jane Lynch had a dinner party, and I met this lovely woman," Joan explained. "At this point, all the men I go out with remind me of my father -- dead. ? I figured I might as well try it at this point. Maybe I've been missing something."

A clip from an upcoming episode of "Joan & Melissa" reveales how it went.

"It's like the Katy Perry song: I kissed a girl and ? I don't know if I liked it or didn't like it," Joan said.
